Okay, first thing first. If you must know, I was the one who instructed the stylist to cut my hair likewise. I seriously have no idea why my confidence level dropped drastically after this haircut. That is so unlike me! I love going to hair salon, trying out new hairstyles as often as once a month but nothing as bad as this has happened. I was paranoid over this hair of mine that I didn't even crave to leave the house (knowing that I am quite a roamer.) Enough about that issue, I went out eventually with Nani yesterday. I was practically wearing a head band to make myself feel good. Nonetheless, Nani commented that I looked like an apple without the band on. So where did we go to? Well yes, another trip again to the hair salon in town.
I thought it'd be better if I colour my hair to give it some shape. I asked for my boyfriend's opinion and he finally agreed after a few pleads of us meeting up first. So off I went to colour my hair with Nani. Finally, I feel my hair looks better. I was glad, I was relieved.
You might think the issue of the hair was over by then. No it was not. Questions by questions awaited me, like I was being interrogated. First, it was Nani. Then, I received a cold shoulder from my boyfriend. Finally, it was my mom. The common thing that came out from them was, "Are you sure your hair colour is allowed by the hospital?" Oh my god! Everyone was so stressed out concerned, especially Azri and all I replied was "Don't worry la. I know what I am doing."
And yes, you must be wondering what colour is my hair now. A black based with red highlights. I know I am crazy. But I love every single bit of it. So, stop lecturing me, can? Let's just wait and see what happens to me when work commences and I will decide from there.
However, I have yet to thank Nani and Azri for assuring me that my hair looks perfectly fine. I no longer wear a hair band now. Hoho! So, finally enough about the hair issue. Well, least for the time being.
Anyway, I have finally decided to bake that oreo cheesecake yesterday. I started late at night and only gets to sleep at 4am! Results?
It was so good. Haha! Not that I'm trying to praise myself. The cake was left with 2 slices when I reached home just now at 11pm. Everyone loves it. And for the record, I shared it with Azri's family too. Like finally. I am so proud of myself. Haha!
After delivering the cheesecake to his house, off we went to do our planned activities. As usual, I am sure bound to run errands for my mum. She made me go to Seah Street to find the stuffs she wants. When asked where the place is exactly, she was totally clueless! We did find the place though after our treats at the Army Market. I have never favoured going to Beach Road's Army Market. The place is so stuffy that I will complaint every second. BUT today, I was being such a good girl. I endured the whole trip with only a few complaints. Good huh.
Since we have already made our way there, of course we savoured the famous 'Sup Tulang'! (Read: Bone Steak.) It was very heavenly. I wouldn't mind going to Beach Road again, to eat. Bone steak, fried noodle, and sugar cane juiced were our meal for the day. How fulfilling filling!
Beach Road and Seah Street down! Next pit was Marina Square. Got myself a Croc pumps for work and decided to catch a movie, 'AWAKE'. Big thumbs up! I shan't go onto details regarding the movie or even give a synopsis. Just say, I did not fall asleep in the theatre (given that I tend to fall asleep or gets restless most of the time.) Nice movie, seriously. Go, go catch it and tell me how you feel.
Okay, a little bit out of track. Nani's blog touched me. And yes I miss those pillow fights too, girl! How time flies. Really.
