I was out with a girlfriend of mine few days ago and she brought up the topic of being a Flight Nurse. The job scope kept me curious. Hence, I did my research.
Basically, the job of a Flight Nurse is as follows;
- Checking, monitoring and inventory management of medical supplies on planes.
- Researching, studying and attending training on emergency response, treating individuals without hospital backup and managing emergency issues in flight.
- Traveling to disaster areas to support emergency response teams.
- Flying and traveling with private individuals or groups of individuals that require medical attention or the ability to have medical attention at all times.
- Performing all necessary emergency and non-emergency medical procedure while in flight or at the scene of disasters and emergencies.
- Training in emergency response and preparedness. Coordinating training and workshops for others.

I thought so too. =>
I would consider it. Well, perhaps another few years down the road.

It has been a really messy week filled with anxiety, quarrels, nightmares, worries and stress. I had few nights of insomnia that I almost went berserk.
I was called down by the HR to have my pre-employment medical check-up done last Friday and to register my name in Singapore Nursing Board. I am now a full-fledge Registered Nurse. As much as I am not looking forward to step into another phase of life, I guessed it is time that I face the fact.
Fact is, I am no longer a full-time student.
Fact is, I got a full-time job.
Fact is, I am a full-time employee.
With all those facts, I now have a bigger responsibility and I have to stop fooling around.
I seriously don't want to mess my life up.
Boy, am I relieved all doubts have been cleared.
Syukur.

Thank God. What a relieved! =)
It's a fair day, yet I have no plans to kill my Monday blues. I've been having a very bad cough for almost a week and just as well, I'd better off stayed home. The fact that I've no more school and been missing in action with my part-time job, everything just boils down to number one – Boy, I am so bored.
Being a messy and untidy person I am, I decided to pack and re-organise my stuffs which are all over the place. Unfortunately, I did not do any single chores. Instead, I stoned and wondered what's going to happen years down the road.
The thought of everything scares me.
With my student ez-link card expiring in late April, simply means I have no liability to enjoy that concession I have been using and gotten used to throughout my education years. In a month time, I'd be wearing the thick white uniform and black shoes to and fro and this time, not as a student but as one of the staffs. The only bills I have so far and of course, have not been paying it by me is none other, my handphone bill! My mum will have one responsibility down because she has all the reason for not giving me any allowance or school-pocket money and needless said, paying my bills and other miscellaneous.
What's with my study loans, tuition fee loans, personal savings, splurges, etc. I'm not sure if I can successfully juggle everything and still be kicking happily.
This is so traumatising!
Why is being an adult so not trouble-free?
